Analytics Guide

All-Out Rule Enabling "All Out" automatically applies the full match quota (e.g. 50 overs) to your NRR calc, even if the team was dismissed in less time.
Overs Precision Enter 10.3 as 10 overs and 3 balls. The engine converts this to 10.5 internally for absolute accuracy.
Data Persistence All data is saved locally on this browser. You can close the tab and return later without losing your tournament progress.

About the NRR calculator

What is Net Run Rate?

NRR = (total runs scored ÷ total overs faced) − (total runs conceded ÷ total overs bowled). It is used to separate teams level on points in tournaments such as the ICC World Cup and the IPL.

The all-out rule

If a team is bowled out before its quota of overs, its innings counts as the full quota (for example 20 overs in T20) in the NRR calculation, not the overs actually faced. This calculator applies that rule automatically.

Overs notation

Overs are written as overs.balls, so 18.3 means 18 overs and 3 balls (18.5 overs as a decimal). The calculator converts this for you.
