Supports arithmetic, powers and roots, logarithms, trigonometric functions in degrees or radians, constants such as π and e, and keeps a history of previous calculations.
Expressions follow standard precedence: brackets, exponents, multiplication and division, then addition and subtraction. Use brackets when in doubt. For example, 2 + 3 × 4 = 14, but (2 + 3) × 4 = 20.
Check the angle mode before using sin, cos or tan. sin(90) is 1 in degrees but about 0.894 in radians.
