Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Digital Tools Hub (“we”, “us”) at digitaltoolshub.github.io collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the tools run in your browser and we never receive what you type into them.
1. Data you enter into tools
Calculations and transformations (for example passwords, text, salaries, health metrics or JSON) are processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. This data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Some tools save data on your device so it’s there when you return, for example Kanban tasks, subscription lists, favourites, recently used tools and theme preference. This uses your browser’s local storage, stays on your device, and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
2. Live data services
A few tools fetch public data from third-party APIs, for example exchange rates (currency, salary and trip tools) and cryptocurrency prices (crypto tracker). These requests ask only for public market data. Your inputs are not included, though the provider will see your IP address as with any web request.
3. Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as which tools are popular and which browsers to support. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not use it to identify you personally.
4. Advertising
The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites.
5. Cookie consent
We use Cookiebot to ask for, record and manage your consent for non-essential cookies. Where consent is required (for example in the EEA, UK or California), analytics and personalised ads only load after you opt in. You can change your choice at any time from the consent banner or by clearing your cookies.
6. Hosting
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security and reliability. See GitHub’s privacy statement.
7. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of personal data. Because we don’t hold tool data, most requests can be met by clearing your browser data. For anything handled by Google or Cookiebot, use their tools linked above, or contact us.
9. Mobile apps

10. Changes and contact
